by alain de botton. now he is one of my favorite writers. i rarely think that a certain writer is a genius. after i read the book i think alain de botton is one. the book is not like a novel that is to be read and put away. underlining sentences that strike you is just unintentional. also, it is not really a book that is to be categorized. not just a novel, not a self development book, not really a deeply philosophical one. just great. now i'm reading "kiss & tell".
by tom ford. i wasn't really aware that tom ford is also a director. yet, i realized that he is a great one if his movies are just like this one. all the visuals; the costumes, the decor, make-up and all the music was great. the movie... it was awesome. just what i love! this is officially one of my favourite movies from now on. it makes you cry not only because of the action in the movie but because of the feelings it creates. at least it was the case for me. i love you tom ford!
edit: just now, i found out that this movies it tom ford's one and only.
i love the sartorialist and this book should be in my library right between my art and fashion books. when i saw it in the bookstore, i wrote it down to my "to buy list" (yes i have a to buy list).
